Let me start with the customer service is amazing, the food was absolutely to die for if you want perfectly seasoned food PLEASE come try this place! We got catfish, shrimp, chicken and collard greens with Mac cheese. I also got the Buffalo fries and every single item was delicious. There is not many places like this in Phoenix that give you this type of soul food done perfectly. Thank you for the friendly service even more so for the amazing food will be a regular customer ”

“ Service My daughter and i drove from Anthem to have the Mommas experience. I had the pleasure of meeting Brandon and Maya during our visit. They both were very patient with us and and trust me, we had a million questions. Brandon was extremely nice and took his time with us and made sure we understood and for that ALONE we will definitely be back... He gets a 1110 Food I got fish and chips Tilapia 9.510, 1 smothered pork chop 6.510 super salty but definitely good, Mac and cheese 7.510 And dressing 510 My daughter got a shrimp po boy 810 It was missing the pickles Caramel cake 710 for my daughter and 410 for me It taste more like maple and the frosting was suuuuper thick Overall with the atmosphere, Customer service and food 810 I will definitely be back ”

“ FINALLY!!! Ive been searching and searching for a spot that serves catfish FRIED HARD!! As you can see in the photos I got Catfish, Tilapia, shrimp, and wings all fried hard like I like it. The fries were good and crispy and the cornbread was wonderful. It comes with fries,onions, pickles and bread but I dont like those so I got the jalapenos instead I added on Mac and cheese very good. It also comes with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce and ketchup on the side. I got a cold Cola also which hit the spot! The customer service was amazing everyone was so nice. Ill definitely be back. Update Still great service!! They now have Kool aid Frozen and UnFrozen!! I got the same meal still just as good as the first time!! ”

“ First time here, went with some friends on their recommendation. It was amazing. Right from the start, the gal that helped us i wish i knew her name, very friendly and personable. Even gave me the scoop on the collard greens, omg they we so delicious, i could eat those all day!! I got the catfish nuggets, havent had catfish this good since my Iowa days. The breading was just right, not too salty. Definitely will be back for more! ”

“ Great food but what I will remember is Desiree and the customer service, exceptional person great personality. Okra was definitely homemade, was delicious! Mac and Cheese was also really good, very cheesy and not so saucy. Fried Chicken Thigh and Legs were crispy, juicy and the perfect amount of greasy, so good. Only thing lacking in my opinion is fresh sweet tea, only had bottled. Highly recommend 55 for food and 65 for customer service. ”

“ Run dont walk to Mommas Soul Fish Chicken in North Phoenix! I ordered the chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, white rice and gravy. All of it was outstanding. My husband ordered the catfish with collard greens and fried okra... Again fantastic. Brandon , Desiree, and their Momma are making it happen! “ Family owned business with two locations. One in Phoenix and Mesa. The Greenway19th Ave spot is off the chain. Great service by Desirae. The food was hot and tasty. We had the catfish and chips with Okra. The Catfish was flavorful and seasoned perfectly. Wifey smashed the okra within seconds. Clearly she liked it! ”

“ Great soul food restaurant!! The food was amazing, my parents got the fried catfish and it was the best Ive had since growing up in Missouri. The breading was delicious!. I got the Famous Shrimp and loved it! It was fried well and the sauce was sweet and spicy, very good! The sides were very good. We got the yams, coleslaw, rice and brown gravy, Mac and cheese, fried okra, and lasagna. All were really good, the fried okra was my favorite. They come served in individual plastic containers, but still really good portion sizes. We also started with the stuffed jalapenos, which were fine, and also got a 3 piece order of hush puppies which were great. Next time I will skip the jalapenos and order more hush puppies!! Ok, things that I believe could be improved, and I worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years and managed for the last 9 years. With fried catfish this good, you should be making your own tartar sauce instead of the packets. It seems like things are really geared towards takeout with accommodations for people wanting to eat in. Which is fine, but I really enjoyed eating in the restaurant and talking to the owner. She was very friendly and helpful!! But the drinks are in cans or plastic bottles and I just dont like drinks that way. Homemade tea andor lemonade would be my personal preference. I dont mind the food being in baskets and the sides in the plastic containers, but it does take away from the quality of the food you are serving, just a little. We really enjoyed the fact that you had 6 or so TVs with different things on each one. The booths were comfortable but the chairs could use an upgrade. Ok, sorry for nit picking, but I wanted to give you some constructive feedback. I love your food and your friendliness and helpfulness and we will be back often!! ”
